We’re not sure there’s anything more vulnerable than putting your idea out there and asking others to help you. But here we are! Our new record is almost done, but we need your help to finish and release it! There’s just no way we can do this one on our own!
We have released 4 critically acclaimed albums in the last five years, toured all over the world, collected industry awards and nominations, and up until this point, we've been able to fund everything with the help of generous grant funding and our own investments. Things have changed this time around and we're asking for your help! In order to see our upcoming release, "It'll Come Around" all the way through, we're asking for your enthusiastic involvement. We've already been to Nashville and back, recorded the tracks, and are working on mixing and mastering. With the loss of tours, shows, corporate appearances, and school concerts, most musicians are scrambling these days. We are in that same boat. To make cds, vinyl, and some sweet new merch, we need to be able to pay for photos, graphic design, and manufacturing. And we haven't even mentioned marketing.
The cool thing is that we will be using local photographers, graphic designers, web masters, painters, and manufacturers so all of the help we receive will actually be helping to support many self-employed people right here in our city. That certainly feels good to do since musicians aren't the only ones losing work right now. Getting this project fully funded would be a big WIN for many in our community.
"It'll Come Around" marks a fresh direction for our music while still maintaining our signature harmonies and John's thoughtful songwriting. We think you'll hear marked growth on this album and be quickly singing along! We approached recording in Nashville with some of Music City's finest session players as an opportunity to open our minds and ears. We really let the songs become what they wanted to be. We are so excited to get it into your ears but want to offer you everything we can so you can experience it to the fullest!
