Who else still has their snow tires on? Instead of hibernating all winter, we were on the road and finishing our upcoming release, "I Go Where You Go". Winter touring can certainly have it's stresses - but we successfully drove to Halifax, PEI, and flew to Quebec! We had an awesome time playing back to back shows at The Company House in Halifax and played at the beautiful Mack Theatre in PEI. We took part in the Dead of Winter Festival in Wakefield, QC and performed at the legendary Black Sheep Inn. We watched our suitcase with the washboard, tambourine, pedals, merch, and Lisa's bass drum all get wheeled away from the plane before it took off. After a quick cry, we were scrambling and calling pawn shops prepared to find any washboard we could get our hands on before Air Canada came through with all of our things - and we were still on time for sound check! Needless to say, we got a quick initiation into winter tour life in Canada! We finished up March with a sold out album preview show right in our home city of Saint John, NB at the BMO Theatre! And speaking of our album....it's done! We had Ray Legere, Andrew Sneddon, Dillon Robicheau, and Remi Arsenault (of the Backyard Devils) all in our studio to record live! We also had special guests guitarist, Mark Hill and cellist, Kaitlyn Raitz join us on a few tracks. We will be announcing all of the exciting details about our release and tour dates shortly so stay tuned! April brought us to Mahone Bay, NS for the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society Folk Fiesta! We shared the stage with Dave Gunning and Halifax-based folk/pop group, Hillsburn. So now that spring is on the horizon - that means it's ECMA season and we are headed to Sydney, NS for some showcases, networking, and reunions with music friends!
